She's beautiful. Thanks for posting Mark. I rode the Land O' Corn to Waterloo, IA as a kid. So I have fond memories of her. If you have more please post.

That grill and the round portholes would indicate an E-8, no? Some sites do list 4030 as an E-7...

These were very nice when they were as clean as this one is. I doubt that the horn is what came on these. I have a friend who has a set of the horns these were delivered with, it has two chimes that are very long. Please note the visors on the marker lights that the I. C. added. I am still waiting for someone to post a photo of sister unit # 4040, as I have the EMD builders plate from her. Thanks for this posting Mr. Gayman, I hope that you have more like this. Also does any one out there have photos of either of the two Central of Georgia E-units that wore this paint scheme but were lettered the C.of G.
