This brings back memories! When I was growing up my grandfather owned the gas station that used to be right next to the tracks on Torrance Blvd. Whenever we would visit him at the station we would go running to the crossing as soon as we heard the crossing gates start to ring.

I used to work on the tv show "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", and Buffy's house was just a block away.Many times i would run to the tracks when i heard the horn!
