This, I take it, was one of those ever popular free photo charters that ran 5 days a week, all year round. Very nice!

My father had an uncle that worked for Rayonier, and dad was able to secure a summer job for a couple of years during his high school days in the mid 1950's. He worked with the a crew that camped at a reload point near Quinault. He would wrap the choker cables around prepared logs on the hillsides so they could be drug to the top to be loaded onto trucks. It's great to get to see a little of this history that my father was part of.
