It's sad to see Darwin Candidates like this risking the lives of innocent pets. If it were just the human, well, he would get what he deserved, but those poor precious dogs..! I hope they bit him hard when they got home.

Don't let anything happen to the dogs, but it's okay if the man gets killed. Really!?

Mr. Ron Greene - In response to your comment, and in defense of mine, I will only say this... That man has a brain to think with, is capable of reason and the ability to weigh the options of his actions. If he so chooses to place his life in danger by this very action caught in this photo, then he ultimately deserves the outcome of his actions, being reckless and, yes I will say it, STUPID for crossing the tracks directly in front of that train...therefore, endangering himself, risking his life, and yes...he would deserve the outcome for his actions. The dogs, on the other hand, do not have the full capacity to know the danger their human is putting them in, as well as the possible outcome of their human's actions. IF they were to be killed in this instance, then they would be the innocent victims of the man's stupidity, therefore, he would be responsible for their deaths. However, if they were not on leashes, and were not with that human, and they did this, then the result of their outcome, should they get hit and killed, would be on them. Lots of animals die by getting struck by trains daily. People, on the other hand, have no business putting their pets in danger and deliberately getting them killed in such a manner as should have happened here. Though the loss of life in either circumstance would be tragic, the human is deliberately risking his own life, and placing the lives of those two dogs in danger as well. That would be tragic in the fact that the dogs would have been needlessly killed due to the human's poor judgement and stupidity. So, I wouldn't feel all that mournful if the man were to end up a tragic statistic, but to take two innocent animals with him would be more tragic. He's got a choice here, the dogs do not.
