And a Conrail C39-8. I've seen a surprising number of pictures of them on western roads, but that may be photographer bias.

SP leased Conrail C32-8s (maybe C39-8s too) in the early-mid 90's. Some had an L on the locomotive cab next to the road number denoting the lease.
