The Floridian blazes into Satsuma at near 80 mph.

91 Blasting through Satsuma

Celeberty 108 after about 2 years finally made some trips into Florida seen here leading 98 through Satsuma.

An exceptionally rare leader brings 98 north on a wet and unsettled afternoon heading toward Palatka, running on time. The dash 8 leaders only happen every few years it seems.

The Star flashes past a pile of ties leftover from CSX Right of Way works ongoing on the A line.

Amtrak needed a little help from CSX on this day

Famous 145 the first of the heritage fleet that started it 10 years ago hammers thru Satsuma with the Star.

The Silver Star is 2 hours down blasting thru Satsuma. CSX has been replacing ties on this part of the A line for some time. Dedicated to "Debs" A friend who passed on.

Amtrak unfortunately has had some issues of late and a failure of one of the P40's sent CSX to the rescue. Amazingly, 53 was only an hour or so late despite this issue.

Due to the first schedule change with Auto Train since Amtrak took it on in 1983, the departures are now an hour later giving us a daylight view.
