OT-1 timed their arrival at Kearny perfectly with a break in the clouds as they thunder west with a train of empties for the copper mine at Ray.

The loaded copper ore train has reached it's destination and has started the dumping process.

Before departing Hayden, Arizona, for a trip to the Asarco’s Ray copper mine, the conductor of Copper Basin Railway’s OT-1 makes a roll-by inspection of the train on April 20, 2017.

The OT-1 is southbound at Kelvin. Good winter rains have made the paloverde and mesquite trees blossom out before the intense summer heat arrives.
